Non-Licensed Staff

Although they are not licensed funeral directors, these staff members are vitally important to the operation of our firm.  These individuals make it possible for us to professionally coordinate funerals with the quality of service our community has come to expect from us.

Affectionately known as "Aunt Marie", our most caring and memorable staff member is a true member of the family. Aunt Marie makes it a point to engage each family and help everyone find peace and solace during a difficult time. She gets to know each family on a very personal level, and has in-turn made some lasting friendships from her time here at the funeral home. She is one-of-a-kind and we are lucky to have her... and you will be, too!

Roger has been with O'Brien Funeral Home for nearly twenty years. From the maintenance of the facilities to the operations of the funeral, Roger continues to be a big part of the funeral homes' excellence. His dedication not only to his job, but to his community as well, is noteworthy. He served for many years as the Captain of Manasquan First Aid, and continues to play an active part in their efforts to protect and serve our neighborhood.

Murry first appeared at O'Brien Funeral Home as a part-timer over twenty years ago. It wasn't long before he was with us full-time and helping to make each funeral a smooth and solemn time for every family. Always there to lend a hand, Murry plays an active role each funeral, whether during the first-call, visitation, or funeral. His positive spirit is felt by all. A former Sea Girt Police Officer, Murry brings with him a tradition as an upstanding citizen.
