Bertha A. Quintero, 77, of Brick, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at Jersey shore Medical Center, Neptune.
Mrs. Quintero was born in Tarma, Peru, and lived in Lima, Peru, before coming to the United States, in search of a better life for her family, in 1964. She lived in Brooklyn and Edison, before moving to Brick 17 years ago. She was an accomplished seamstress, both in Peru and New York, as well as a homemaker, but above all, was devoted to her family.
Mrs. Quintero was predeceased by her husband, Antonio, in 1993. She is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Lucila and Mark Federowski, of Brick, and Carmen and Miguel Albugar, of Palm Coast, FL, as well as her grandchildren, Christina and Cassidy Federowski, and Jose Antonio and Franchesca Albugar, of FL.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 17, 2011, at 9 A.M., at St. Dominic’s Church, Brick. Mrs. Quintero’s remains will then be inurned at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick, N.J.
