Marie A. Todd Quenet, 85 of Brick and a longtime resident of Dunedin, Florida passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the Medical Center of Ocean County, Brick with her loving grandson, devoted daughter and family and friends at her bedside.
Marie was a devout Christian who loved kids more than anything. She loved reading to them and just spending time with them. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed her soap operas. She was a beautiful example of how we should live a simple life, which included unconditional love for everyone she met. She was the richest woman in the world because her heart was so full of love. She taught her family that things we make matter don’t matter, but forgiving and forgetting were the two most important principal we should all live by to have a happy and fulfilled life.
She was predeceased by her husband Louis C. Quenet in February 2011. Surviving is her daughter and primary caretaker Christine M. Quenet Kremp and loving son-in-law Charles Kremp of Brick, her son Joseph Quenet of Addison, Texas, her brother Frank Todd of Florida, her sister Pauline Rooney of Cresskill, NJ, her 6 grandchildren Joseph and wife Tammy, Alex, Jenna, Jillian, Jessica, and Stephanie and her great grandson Bentley.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 from 6:00pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 7:00pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy. 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, 3300 Rt. 66, Neptune, NJ 07753. Donation form is available at the Funeral Home.
Cremation will be private at the convenience of the family.
