Dorothy A. Zubrowski, 69, of Brick, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 11, 2014 at Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark after a long illness. Born in Jersey city to the late Thomas and Helen Canton, she was a former resident of Hillside before moving to Brick 20 years ago. Dottie was an office manager at Barnett Spice Company in Jersey City before retiring in 1992. She was president of the Green Briar II woman’s club, and editor of the Green Briar II News. She enjoyed the quality time spent with her devoted husband, loving family, and cherished Green Briar II friends.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 38 years Joseph Zubrowski, her dear sisters Marilyn Guertin, Carol Rcigliano and husband Dan, Betty Wiete and husband Mike, and Teresa Noshes and husband John, her special niece Mary and nephew Jeff, and many more nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM at Epiphany R.C. Church, 615 Thiele Road, Brick.
Private interment will take place at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.
