Obituary for Bruce G. Zaun

Bruce G.  Zaun
Bruce G. Zaun, 84, of Lakewood, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
Mr. Zaun was born in Brooklyn and raised in Ridgewood, Queens. He was a longtime resident of Pequannock before coming to the Enclave, Lakewood, 8 years ago. He was a graduate of Pace College and was the Chief Financial Officer at Artistic Identification Systems, Pompton Lakes, for many years prior to retiring. He previously served as President of the Rotary Club of Pompton Lakes, where he was named a Paul Harris Fellow. He was active in SCORE, most recently in Toms River.
Mr. Zaun is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Joan (nee Callahan). He is also survived by his son, David Zaun, of Brick, his daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Geoffrey Hastings, of Spring Lake Heights, and his son and his fiancée, Kenneth Zaun and Maureen Laverty, of Montville. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Christopher, Connor and Claudia Hastings, his brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Marilyn Zaun, of Wantagh, N.Y., and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will take place at O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy. 35, Wall, on Sunday, November 30, 2014, from 3-7 P.M. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Monday, December 1, 2014, at 11 A.M., followed by private interment at St. Anne Cemetery, Wall. Donations in Mr. Zaun’s memory may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 E. Ohio St., Ste. 304, Chicago, IL 60611.
