Condolence: As a child we use to fear going to see Dr. Lewis with his stern demeanor, as an adult I learned to appreciate the fact he actually performed procedures that today family doctors just send you to specialists to do. My mother Margaret Bennett was his nurse for many years, we still talk about the Dr. Our condolences to the the family, he was a true pillar of the community.

Condolence From: Norman M Walton Jr
Condolence: So sorry to hear this news. Dr Lewis was my personal Dr since I was born 1954 thru 1968 until we moved to West Chester then to LHC, Az in 1972. He took great care of me, making house calls and our office visits the 1st 14 yrs of my life. I always asked him questions of why and how and we always got along really great, since he realized I had an interest in medical field. He was a GREAT doctor, always had High Respect for him, his talents and I always understood his down to business personality. Dr Lewis inspired me and I became a public servant serving as Ariz State Police Ranger and EMT Medic for 30 yrs...serving, protecting and saving Ariz public lives. Thank you Dr Cliff Lewis for your service and how you inspired me during my younger years. My condolences to the entire Lewis Family. Rest in Sleep Dr Lewis. Az Kid Norm Walton Jr (retired May 2012)

Condolence: Dr. Lewis was our family physician for many years. Although he had a gruff demeanor, he was one of the most honest doctors around, as well as one of the best. He made a great impact on the Malvern community and touched many lives in a positive way. My deepest condolences to Dr. Lewis' family.

Condolence: Dear Mrs. Lewis & Family,
My wife, Elaine, and I were saddened to read of Dr. Lewis’ passing in the Inquirer today. We were newly married in early 1960’s and lived on Karen Drive, near your home and Dr. Lewis’s office. We had three sons that Dr. Lewis treated on a much too regular basis. I am glad he didn’t run out of stitching material. Anytime we had a problem, we would call and he would say, “wrap him up and bring him here”. We asked him to be the pediatrician for our second son, Andy, who was born at CCH. When he was born, he had hyaline membrane disease and a collapsed lung. Dr. Lewis went to CCH about 3AM when my son was in distress and called in a pediatric specialist. It took two weeks for my son to heal and come home. Elaine and I have always credited Dr. Lewis for saving my sons life. Today, Andy is 49 , married and has three children. We continued to see Dr. Lewis until you moved from Malvern. He was the last Dr. that would make a “house call”. He was an exceptional Doctor and gentleman, down to earth and most competent. It is indeed rare to find a doctor like Clifford Lewis in today’s world.
