June M. O’Connor 91 of Wall formerly of South Orange, NJ died Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Jersey Shore Univ. Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Newark, NJ June lived in South Orange before moving to Wall 4 years ago. June worked for Prudential Insurance in Newark, NJ prior to raising her family. She was a member and past president of the Senior Circle Club of South Orange. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Wexford at Wall for their kindness and loving care these past four years.
June was predeceased by her beloved husband James Douglas O’Connor and a loving daughter Kathleen Mary O’Connor. Surviving are 2 sons, Michael O’Connor, Stephen O’Connor and his wife Barbara, all of Pt. Pleasant, NJ, and 2 grandsons, Kevin and Sean.
Visiting will be Monday, from 3-7 PM at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 Wall, NJ. A Funeral Service will be Tuesday, 10 AM at the funeral home, followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Employees Christmas Fund at the Wexford At Wall, 2018 Hwy 35 Wall, NJ 07762.
