Obituary for Jack M. Albala

Jack M. Albala
Jack M. Albala, 78, of Manchester, passed away on November 9, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. Born in the Bronx, Jack met and married his true love, Sylvia Ross, and together they began their loving family. Jack had a passionate and successful career as a Production Manager for Barry Hazan Sportswear in the Garment District, but his true love was his family. A consummate family man, Jack loved his roles of husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His giving spirit was evident in all he did, most especially when he started The Renaissance Men's Club Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, now active for 18 years, which has provided countless meals for those in need.
Jack was predeceased by his loving wife Sylvia in 2014, with whom he is now reunited. He leaves his three devoted daughters – Diane Albala of Princeton, Julie Yoskowitz & her husband Steven of Howell, and Heather Doyle & her husband Kevin of Lake Como; his grandchildren Jessica Puia & her husband Carmen, Joshua Yoskowitz & his wife Julie, and Nathaniel Doyle; and great-grandchildren Thomas, Matthew, and Benjamin.
Friends & family are invited to join the family at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick, on Saturday from 3-7pm, with a service to be offered at 5pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The FoodBank, 3300 Route 66, Neptune, NJ 07753.
The family will observe Shiva at the home of Julie & Steven Yoskowitz, 14 Woodview Drive, Howell, on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 12-8pm.
