Glenn Arthur Ullrich

Glenn Arthur Ullrich, age 65, of Hawthorne, New Jersey, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 10, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer.

Glenn was employed as a M.R.I. Coordinator at St. Joseph’s Wayne Hospital for many years before retiring in 2016. He was an avid fisherman, NASCAR fan and woodworker and loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed traveling, the feeling of sunshine on his face, sand beneath his feet and a fishing pole in his hands.

He was the cherished son of Arthur and Grace Ullrich; devoted father of Keira Lombardo and her husband John, Adam and Jared Ullrich; beloved partner of Jody Mullin; dear brother of Gregg and Arthur Ullrich, Lynn Van Allen and Randi Venema; and loving grandfather of Grant and Ainsley Lombardo, Ashlyn Siek and Mason Bouchoux.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Hawthorne Gospel Church, 2000 NJ-208, Hawthorne, NJ 07506. The service will be followed by a repast at 12:30 PM at Macaluso's, 161 Rea Avenue, Hawthorne, NJ 07506. Cremation was private and held under the direction of O’Brien Funeral Home, Brick.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
