Obituary for Nancy Camarco (Ryan)
Nancy Camarco, 81, of Manasquan, N.J., and formerly of Katonah, N.Y., passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017.
Mrs. Camarco (nee Ryan) was born and raised in Ossining, and was a resident of Katonah for many years, where she and her late husband raised their daughter. They retired to The Four Seasons, Manasquan, in 2007, after having vacationed for many years at the Jersey Shore, to be able to spend time with their grandsons. Mrs. Camarco was a secretary for Shipp Construction, Mahopac, where her husband was also employed. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Camarco was predeceased by her beloved husband, John M. Camarco, in 2010, as well as by her brothers, James and William Ryan. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Betsy Camarco Tracy and Kevin Tracy, of Brielle, and her grandchildren, Ryan and Colin Tracy. Also surviving are Mrs. Camarco’s sister, Mary R. Curry, and her sisters-in-law, Theresa and Ann Ryan, all of Ossining.
Visitation will take place at O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 hwy. 35, Wall, on Monday, February 20, 2017, from 4:30-7:30 PM. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mark’s Church, Sea Girt, on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at 9:30 AM, followed by entombment at St. Catharine’s Cemetery, Sea Girt. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Camarco’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
