Obituary for Anne Marie Possiel (Saniscalchi)

Anne M. Possiel, 67, of Brick, passed away on March 29, 2017. Born to Pasquale and Bruna Saniscalchi in Newark, Anne went on to meet and marry her beloved husband Philip in 1972. Together they lived in Avenel before moving to Brick in 1980. Anne was a proud wife, mother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
Anne leaves her husband Philip of Brick; son Philip of Hillsborough; brother Patrick & wife Vicky of Alexandria, brother Robert & wife Gloria of Florida, sister Janet Reitmar & husband Richard of Holland, NJ, and brother John & wife Kim of Howell. Anne also leaves behind Philip’s siblings – Barbara & Tom Golinski of Colonia, Bill & Claudia Possiel of Montana, and Karen & Alan Merritt of Somerset; as well as many loving relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick, on Sunday from 2-6pm. Funeral Service will be offered at the funeral home on Monday at 11am, with entombment to follow at Forest Green Cemetery in Marlboro.
