Maureen Elizabeth Venora, 90, of East Windsor, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 2, 2017 at the Bartley Healthcare Nursing and Rehabilitation in Jackson, N.J.

Born in South Wales, Great Britain she immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1946, and came to the United States in 1953.
Maureen worked in North Bay, Canada as a television host for a show called "Coffee Corner" interviewing celebrities. She also worked in the Fashion Industry in New York City, N.Y. modeling for many fashion designers. She had many hobbies including writing poetry, art, theatre, and cinema.
She is survived by her loving family and her daughter, Melissa Lenahan, her husband Robert, grandchildren Aine and Eamon, sister Sheila Weiss, brother David (Rita) Hurley, nieces and nephews, Julie(Al), Danny(Susanne)Hurley, Michael (Holly) Hurley, Tracy (Rick)McGeagh, and Kelly, great nieces and nephews, Ashley, Aaron, Joshua, Matt, Jack, Mary, Isabelle, Nick and Mattie, Martin, and Maeve.
and great great nieces and nephews, Ryden.

A memorial service celebrating Maureen's life will be set up in the near future for a date in the month of June.
A special thanks to Bartley Healthcare and their devoted caretakers, Sonya,
Darlene, Andreas, Carmelita, and Janai. A 'shout out' to Rosie for keeping her looking beautiful, and Vol for the early days. A special thanks to Cindy for her social work expertise and Caroline for helping us with the details.
