The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Francis Smith can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Bryan Dickerson
Condolence: I am very sorry to learn of Fran's passing. I worked with him for several years before he retired as Township Clerk. I will always remember talking basketball with him and hearing of how he used to drain baskets with "monotonous regularity" (as he used to say) when he played for Mt. St. Mary's. May the Good Lord bless him in eternity.

Condolence: Dear Kim and the Smith Family,
I'm so sorry for your loss. When I was 16 years old I started working at the Public Defenders Office in Toms River and Tony Bongiovanni came up to me and said my good friend Fran Smith is running for Office will you put a bumper sticker on your car. Your dad, Fran, was a great guy. I didn't know he was your Dad.
Sincerely,
Barbara Reilly
