The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James Mastrian can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

John and Margaret Bonello

My first memory of Jim was meeting him at my a council meeting with the Knights of Columbus. I was new to the area and didn't know many people. I went to the meeting to transfer my membership to the St Monica's KoC council. Jim sat down next to me and introduced himself. He made me feel welcomed. He introduced me to everybody and made me feel at home. I would see Jim most weekends at church. I will always remember the smile on his face that just made you smile back. I was hoping to get to see Jim on Easter when I came back to New Jersey. I thought maybe he went to the Vigil mass and thought that I will see him the next time I am at St Monica's. It is sad to think that a part of the warmth that I feel from the St Monica's community will be gone. Jim, on behalf of myself, my wife Margaret and my Daughter Grace, Rest in Peace knowing that you will always be a part of our lives.
