Condolence: My Sympathy to the Tomaino Family. My fond memories of growing up in Point include our trips to Tomaino's for our shoes--a must. Then, when a high-schooler at Point, walking past the store into "town" sharing news and greetings with Fran as he stood outside the store. Also, seeing him at Mass at St. Peter's when returning to Point to visit my family. He was a wonderful guy with true commitment to our great community. God Bless all of you and God grant Fran peaceful rest.

Condolence: Barbara, Sam, and Michael, As you know, your dad was one of kind. He had an impact on the lives of so many people, friends and strangers alike, and will be remembered as a kind and happy soul. Condolence: Mr. Tomaino was someone who was loved and respected by all. So many of us will remember our trips to his store for our school, Easter and play shoes. Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of your loss. We hung out together with Debbie Doe and you folks were always my best Pt. Beach friends. My family always went to see your Dad for our shoes. Even when we couldn't afford them, your Dad always worked out something so the children he knew would always wear the appropriate and supportive foot wear. Condolence: To the Tomaino family, Your Dad was such a fun and friendly person. He knew my Mom, Barbara McKinley Freer, for eons, since High School. We would go to the shop for shoes or repairs or just to say Hi. He was great friends with Al Lopez and I remember the two of them just making each other laugh and us too.
