Patricia L. Welti (McGowan)
Patricia L. Welti, 77, of Brick, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at her home.
Mrs. Welti (nee McGowan) was born and raised in Jersey City, where she graduated from Lincoln High School. She then lived in Bridgewater for 30 years, where she raised her family, before moving to Brick 12 years ago. She was a homemaker, who loved her family, had a heart of gold, and was always laughing. She spent every sunny summer day at Brick 1 Beach, with her sister Sheila, and she considered her beach friends to be her extended family.
Mrs. Welti was predeceased by her beloved husband Jack Welti, by her parents, Joseph and Rose (nee Cumisty) McGowan, and by seven of her siblings. She is survived by her son, Christopher J. Welti of Raritan, and his companion, Cindy Mills, and her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Jody Krajack, of Sherills Ford, NC. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christopher, Jack and Ryan Welti, and Joseph, Carly and Justin Krajack. Also surviving are her siblings, Sheila Piacente, Eileen Consonni and Edward McGowan, as well as many nephews, nieces, and great-nephews and nieces.
In accordance with Patricia’s wishes, there are no visiting hours and cremation took place privately. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Dominic’s Church, Brick, on Monday, May 15, 2017, at 10 AM. Donations in Mrs. Welti’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
