Obituary for Barbara M. Jones (Karkovice)
Barbara M. Jones, 76, of Brick passed away peacefully on Monday, May 15, 2017 at the Ocean Medical Center in Brick. She was a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Born in Elizabeth, she lived in Linden, moving briefly back to Elizabeth. She then lived in Sayreville before calling Brick home 20 years ago.
Surviving is her loving husband of 31 years, Clarence Jones; sons, Edwin Fernandez of Brick, Michael Jones and his wife, Lisa of Richmond, VA; daughters, Lisa Paffrath and her husband, Rudy of Flagstaff, AZ, Donna Lee and her husband, Michael of Brick, and Tammy Dumville and her husband, Kevin of Richmond, VA; 10 grandchildren, Edwin, Nicholas, Michael, Andrew, Lindsay, Taylor, Genevieve, Olivia, Cassy, and Tessa; as well as 4 great grandchildren, Logan, Liam, Mason and Isabella.
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday 11am to 1pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A prayer service will be held at 1pm in the funeral home. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Toms River. Donations may be made in her name to the Humane Society of Tinton Falls or the St. Jude Children Research Foundation.
