Obituary for Lori Ann Avaltroni (Avaltroni)

Lori Ann Avaltroni, 50, passed away on May 30, 2017. Lori is survived by her beloved parents Dolores and Joseph Avaltroni of Toms River, her sister and brother in law, Dana and Robert Kaden and her cherished nieces Ally and Emma Kaden, all of Brielle. She also leaves behind countless family members as well as many lifelong friends.
Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd. (Bridge Ave. Extension) at Rt. 70, Brick, NJ 08724 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 10:30am at St. Margaret’s RC Church, Corner of 3rd and Ludlow Ave., Spring Lake, NJ 07762. Burial will follow in the Avaltroni plot in Greenwood Cemetery., Brielle.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, #301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691.

Dear Dolores, Joe, Dana, family, and friends,

While researching a potential job at O'Brien, I stumbled upon the entry for Dana. I am so very sorry to hear of this great loss to your family.

I met Dolores at work, many years ago now. At work, Dolores spoke often of her beautiful husband and daughters. She and her husband were invited to my home once.

In life, we sometimes have the privilege of knowing living angels...people who are kind, generous, and loving, like Dolores and Joe. I can only imagine that Lori's apple did not fall far from the tree.

Please know that I am thinking of you all and sending prayers your way during this difficult time.

Lori was an amazing woman. She had a very kind heart. Always smiling and willing to assist you in anyway. My heart was very heavy when I learned of my friend's passing. I thank my God upon every remembrance of you.

Lori and I worked together at Merrill Lynch and Prudential. Over the past 26 years we became very good friends and enjoyed many experiences together inside and outside of work. We had much fun times and she was always a great support when I needed someone to confide in. She was one of the most thoughtful persons you could meet. I have countless memories with her that I will always hold dear. I am still in shock and will miss her very much.. May she rest in peace. Girl, I know you got your wings.
