Obituary for Concetta Pota (Schiavone)
Concetta Pota, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at her home in Brick surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Italy, Concetta lived in Oceanport for 33 years and has resided in Brick for the last 12 years.
She is predeceased by her parents Vincenzo and Giuseppina and her brothers; Michael, Benjamin, Pasquale and Vincenzo of Italy.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 55 years, Frank; her children, Mary Perrella-Danielsen and her husband Jim, Frank Pota Jr. and his wife Stacy and Josephine Rondello and her husband Tom; her sisters, Anna Maria Iannotta and Maria Schiavone of Italy and her grandchildren Anna Maria, Victoria, Michael and Justin as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 2-6 p.m. at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd., Brick. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Visitation R.C. Church, Brick followed by the entombment at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital and the American Cancer Society.
