Erma Jean Wright, 81 of Lakewood and formerly of Point Pleasant and Boynton Beach, FL, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2017 surrounded by the love of her family.

Jean was the devoted wife of the late William E. Wright, Jr. who passed away in 2000. Together they had four beloved children, raising their family in Point Pleasant. Jean loved to cook and spend time with her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband, Jean was predeceased by her son Robert in 2010. She leaves her devoted children – Deborah Wright (Steven) of Point Pleasant, William E. Wright III (Meghan) of Maryland, and Lisa Farley (Kevin) of Brick; her 5 grandchildren, Alyssa, Jordan, Christopher, Madison and Jessica; many loving relatives and friends; as well as her care giver, Nina Geradze.

Memorial Visitation will be held at O’Brien Funeral Home. 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick, on Sunday from 1-4pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jean’s name to the St. Jude Children’s Research Foundation.
