Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dolores Smigelsky can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Dolores M.  Smigelsky
Dolores M. Smigelsky, 77, of Lakewood formerly of Linden passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed activities in her community at Covington Village in Lakewood.
She was predeceased by her husband in 2000, Joseph Smigelsky, Jr. (Linden FD); Surviving is her son, Timothy J. Smigelsky (Linden FD) and his wife, Sue of Howell; daughters, Cheryl A. Smigelsky of Colonia and JoEllen Anguella and her husband, Thomas (Linden FD) of Columbus; and nine grandchildren, Joseph (Linden FD), T.J., Sierra, Annie-Jean, Matthew, Thomas, Brandon, Tyler and Amanda-Jo.
Visiting will be on Tuesday from 4-8pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A prayer service will be held at 7:30pm in the funeral home. Interment will be private. Donations may be made in her name to St. Barnabas Burn Foundation, 94 Old Short Hills Road, West Orange NJ 07052
