Obituary for Harry J. Findlay

Harry J. Findlay, 73, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017, at his home.

Harry was born and raised in Belleville, and had lived in Point Pleasant for many years. He served in the Navy, and was self-employed as an Architectual Designer and Drafter before retiring. He was a lover of animals, and will be missed by Sophie, his beloved Golden Retriever.

Harry is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Patricia (nee McKeon). He is also survived by his twin brother and his sister-in-law, Alfred and Donna Findlay, of Toms River. Also surviving are Harry’s in-laws. Howard and Linda McKeon, and Barbara and Thomas Estlow, and his nephews and grand-nieces, whom Harry adored.

Memorial visitation will take place at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick, on Sunday, July 9, 2017, from 3-5 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Harry’s memory may be made to Rescue Ridge (Animal Adoption), PO Box 223, Spring Lake, NJ 07762, or at www.rescueridge.com.
