Obituary for Charles A. Seaman

Charles A.  Seaman
Charles A. Seaman, 68, of Manasquan, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017, with his loving wife at his side.
Charlie grew up in Denville, and had lived at the Shore for 40 years. He was a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College, and had a successful 30-year career in the beer sales industry, with Point Pleasant Distributors, before retiring in 2010. He loved animals, and spending time at the beach and Manasquan Inlet. Charlie shared the Gift of Life with countless others by being an organ and tissue donor via the Sharing Network.
Charlie was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Ethel Seaman, his stepfather, Edward Dangerfield, and his sister, Evelyn Kelly. He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Barbara (nee Banzhaf). Also surviving are his sister, Helen Juliano, of Rockaway, and his in-laws, Carol and Bob Livesey, of Madison, George Banzhaf, of Livingston, Phyllis Latella, of Cedar Grove, and Robert Banzhaf, of Livingston, as well as many nephews and nieces.
Visitation will take place at O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy. 35, Wall, on Thursday, July 13, 2017, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 14, 2017, at 11 AM. Cremation will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlie’s memory may be made to Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall Street, Eatontown, NJ 07724.
