Karl W. Knehr, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at his home in Brick. Born in Newark, Karl lived in Irvington and Union and had resided in Morristown for 35 years before moving to Brick 15 years ago.

Mr. Knehr was an Insurance Broker for McMahon, Havas and Knehr for many years.

Karl was an avid golfer and fisherman and loved spending time with his family.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Barbara; his children, Karl J. Knehr and his wife Dawn of Point Pleasant, Laura Coleman and her husband Glenn of Chester and Jennifer Seibel and her husband Scott of Berkeley Heights; his 5 grandchildren, Karl W. Knehr, Meghan Knehr, Jacqueline Coleman, Allison Coleman and Alex Seibel.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 2-6 p.m. at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd., Brick. A Funeral Mass will be on Monday, July 17th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martha’s RC Church, Point Pleasant. Cremation is private.
