Wall High Memories

I meet Maureen my freshman year at Wall High School, coming from a private school Mo helped introduced me to the "freedom's" of public school. She was also there for me as I lost my my Father shortly after starting school. We hung out with , Kim Mason, Carol , Liptok,Cheryl Kahn ,and Charlie Sylvester( who recently passed away). We spent many hours at the bowling alley and behind it, smoking, exchanging I.D. bracelets with boys and other things!

Maureen was in many of my art classes with Mr. Anise, I was always jelaous of her outstanding creativity and talent , she made the most beautiful ceramic pieces. Little did she know how much influence  she had on my career as a full time sculptor for pass 30 years.

In my senior year , I made the "mature" decision to get married, she agreed to be a bridesmaid even at her young age she fulfilled the duties of helping to plan shower and bachelorette  party. One of the few items I took with me when moving to Colorado 39 years ago were the hand carved ceramic bowls and candle sticks and salt and peppers she made for me, they are displayed proudly in my china cabinet.

Mo you will be greatly missed and I hope you are in the Potter's hands.

Your friend,

Gwen
