Obituary for Marie Ann Hauge (Schnorrbusch)

Marie Ann (Schnorrbusch) Hauge, 41, of Point Pleasant and Manasquan tragically passed away on August 2, 2017 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Mrs. Hauge worked as a manager at Bubbles Laundromat in Sea Girt up until her passing. She was a graduate of North Bergen High School. Marie was a loving mother, wife and daughter. She was a class mom at Ocean Road Elementary School in Point Pleasant, an avid music lover, a NY Yankee fan and in football, a LA Ram fan. She was a communicant of St. Martha’s RC Church in Point Pleasant.
Born in Hoboken, she grew up in North Bergen before moving to the jersey shore in 2000.
Marie was predeceased by her father, Fred Schnorrbusch, Sr. in 2012; maternal grandparents, Marie and Charles Messina; and paternal grandparents, Mae and Frank Schnorrbusch. Surviving is her husband of 10 years, Kristen William Hauge of Point Pleasant; son, Jonathan Charles Hauge at home; step-sons, Joshua James Hauge and Zachary Kristen Hauge of Brielle; mother, Mary Jane Schnorrbusch of Manasquan; sister, Michele Lisa and her husband, James of Bloomfield; nephews, Jim, Charlie and Max Lisa also of Bloomfield; step-brothers, Fred Schnorrbusch, Jr. and his family of Brick and Mark Schnorrbusch and his family of Brick. Marie also had many friends and will be sorely missed but also provided the Gift of Life by donating her organs to help strangers in need.
Visiting will be on Monday from 3-9pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35, Wall. A prayer service will be held on Tuesday 11am in the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Toms River. A celebration of Marie’s life will also be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate a donation to her son’s educational fund that will be set up.
