Arthur E. Leavy, Jr., husband and father of two, passed away on August 3, 2017 at his home in Pt. Pleasant. Arthur was born on December 6, 1951 on City Island in the Bronx, New York.
Arthur served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was an A-Journeyman Electrician in the Local No. 3 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for 44 years.
A beloved father and an avid motorsports enthusiast, Artie will be dearly missed by his extended family and Bayhead Shores community, with whom he was always happy to lend a helping hand and share laughs.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn Leavy; his beloved children, Thomas and Taylor Leavy and his soon to be daughter-in-law, Heather McCabe.
Viewing will be held at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick on Tuesday August 8th from 3-7 p.m. with a service at 6:30 p.m. Cremation is private.
