Obituary for Barbara Cocuzza
Barbara Cocuzza, age 51, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Barbara was born and raised in Brick and was a graduate of Brick Memorial High School.
Barbara worked as an LPN most recently for Jersey Shore University Hospital in Neptune. Her greatest love was animals. She was an avid fan of the show the Walking Dead and was a collector of all memorabilia from the show. She was also a New York Yankees, Giants and Rangers fan.
She is predeceased by her beloved father, Charles who passed away 14 years ago.
Surviving are her loving brother, David Cocuzza and his wife Norma; her nephew Ryan and her cherished dog, Layla.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. with a service being held at 6:00 p.m. Cremation is private.
Memorial contributions can be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center mskcc.org.
