Joyce Elaine Langworthy, 78, a lifelong resident of Wall, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2017.
Joyce was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose caring nature endeared her to all those she met. She and her late husband Robert made wonderful memories at Sea Girt Lanes, and over the years, her smile welcomed many visitors to the coffee shops at both the Point Pleasant and Brick Hospitals. Joyce had an affinity for animals and her pets meant the world to her. But nothing brought Joyce more pleasure than her beloved family, of whom she could not have been prouder. She will be greatly missed.
Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Robert Sr. in 2004. She is survived by her children- Carole L. Reed & husband John of Spring Lake Heights, Susan E. DeSarno & husband Frank of Wall, and Robert Langworthy Jr. & wife Nana of Wall; her 9 grandchildren- John, Bobby, Rachel, Frankie, Andrew, Christopher, Casey Elisabeth, Katevan Joyce, and Bobby; her sister Marilyn Bonafide & husband Butch of Wall, sister-in-law Mae Langworthy of Wall; and many loving relatives and friends.
Viewing will be at O’Brien Funeral Home, Wall, on Thursday from 4-8pm. Funeral Service at the funeral home at 11am on Friday, with burial to follow at Atlanticview Cemetery.
