Loretta Toranto, 68, of Brick passed away peacefully on Monday, August 28, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Toranto was a court clerk for many years for the State of New Jersey Superior Court in Freehold before retiring in 2009.
Born and raised in New York City, she has been a resident of Brick since 1971.
Mrs. Toranto was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Patriaco. Surviving is her husband of 48 years, Richard Toranto; sons, Richard and Michael Toranto both of Brick; and brother, Vincent Olmo of Long Island, NY.
Visiting will be on Thursday from 4-8pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A prayer service will be held at 7:30pm in the funeral home. Interment will be private. Donations may be made in her name to the Joan Dancy & Pals Foundation.
