Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Kevin Kelty can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Kevin Joseph "Peanut"  Kelty
Kevin “Peanut” Joseph Kelty, 47, of Jersey City passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the Bayonne Medical Center. Mr. Kelty was a tax assessor for Jersey City for the past 12 years up until his passing. He also worked as security detail for the Hudson County Parks Department for the last 3 years. He was a lifelong Jersey City resident and devoted sports fan who enjoyed watching the NY Mets and Dallas Cowboys.
Mr. Kelty was predeceased by his father, William F. Kelty, Sr. in 2015. He is survived by his daughter, Julia Ashley Kelty of Bayonne; mother, Theresa H. Kelty of Brick; brother, William F. Kelty, Jr. of Brick; sister, Kim Ann Faccone of Brick; brother-in-law, Phillip Faccone, Sr. of Brick; nephews, Phillip Faccone, Jr., William F. Kelty III, and Vincent Faccone; niece, Toniann Wissan; as well as aunts and uncles, Jean Gantner, Joann and Vincent Conticello, Lois Faddy, Corine Kavanagh, Vincent and Annmarie Vetter, Joseph and Valerie Vetter and John and Antoinette Kelty; and many cousins and friends
He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Visiting will be on Friday from 4-9pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 10am at St. Dominic’s RC Church, Brick.
