Obituary for Gus "Buddy" Spatafora

Gus "Buddy" Spatafora
Gus “Buddy” Spatafora, 80, of Neptune, NJ, and Hobe Sound, FL, passed away on September 4, 2017, surrounded by the love of his family. Born in Brooklyn, Buddy lived in Monmouth County for over 50 years and resided in Florida for more than 15 years.

Buddy was an active member of Lost Lake Country Club in Hobe Sound and a former member of Woodlake Country Club in Lakewood. An avid golf player and NY sports enthusiast, Buddy's passion for sports paled in comparison to his passion for his family and friends. He will be dearly missed.

Buddy leaves his devoted wife Patsy, his daughter Jae & husband Peter, and their beloved dog, Chico. He is also survived by his sisters – Joan Vazzana & husband Joseph and Barbara Johnson; as well as many loving relatives and friends.

Memorial Visitation will be held at O’Brien Funeral Home, Wall, on Saturday from 1pm until a service with Military Honors at 3pm.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Buddy's memory to the Fisher House Foundation to help provide housing for disabled veterans in need of support. Please ensure to include Buddy's full name, Gus Spatafora, in the note.
