Obituary for John Yampol
John Yampol, age 95, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Willow Springs in Brick. Born and raised in Newark, John resided in Essex County for many years before moving to Brick last year.
Mr. Yampol worked for 30 years at Dumont Fairchild in Clifton.
John loved working in his garden and general yardwork, tooling with cars and spending his summers in his trailer and strolling the boards at the Jersey Shore.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife Marie and his son Dennis Yampol.
Surviving are his children, Kevin Yampol and his wife Trish, Nancy Rybka and her husband Joseph and Susan Yampol and her husband Bruce Parker; his three grandchildren, Brian and his wife Wendy, Pamela and Melissa; and his four greatgrandchildren, Bryce, Haley, Arianna and Thomas.
A Memorial Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 3-7 p.m. at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick with a service being held at 5pm. Cremation was private.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to standuptocancer.org or to alz.org
