Dawn Marie  Mangieri
Dawn Marie Mangieri, 60, of Toms River passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the Hampton Ridge Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Toms River. Mrs. Mangieri was a securities broker and sales assistant at Wells Fargo in Toms River. She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s RC Church in Toms River and a volunteer for those less fortunate at Habitat For Humanity.
Born in Point Pleasant Borough, she was a lifelong resident of Toms River.
Mrs. Mangieri was predeceased by her father, Arthur L. Higgins; mother, Irene Higgins; and brother, Arthur R. Higgins. Surviving are her husband, John E. Mangieri; son, Scott Mangieri of Roanoke, VA; brother, Charles Russell, Jr. of Toms River; sisters, Jacqueline Manturi and her husband, Pat of Manchester and April Higgins-Beckhorn of Manahawkin; grandchildren, Alexa and Delta Mangieri; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visiting will be on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A prayer service will be offered on Monday 10am in the funeral home. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Toms River. Donations may be made in her memory to Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, 14 Penn Plaza Suite 1710 NY, NY 10122.
