Condolences

Condolence From: Tom and Carol Walsh
Condolence: Chris, Alisa, and Leanne, we are so sorry for your loss.
Unfortunately circumstances here in North Carolina are preventing us from being at the final goodbyes to your Mom, but we're glad we had a chance to get together with her a few weeks ago (2 days before her birthday). She was a brave and caring lady. My fondest memories of her really go back to when we were kids at family gatherings in Kearny, Keyport, and Cranford but especially our summer vacations at Seaside Park where the cousins (your Mom, Paul, Bill, Dorothy, My brother Pete, and myself) would spend a couple of weeks getting to know each other better, at the beach, on the boardwalk, walking, playing, eating, arguing, but mainly just having fun. She could get a little feisty if the boys got on her case too much but we all enjoyed the laughing and yes she did have that laugh even then. It certainly is a difficult time losing both your parents in such a short period, but relish the memories and the good times you had with them, because their kind don't come along everyday. Our prayers are with you and your families, and we're sure your parents and Billy are together again in a better place.
Regards,
Tom and Carol Walsh

Condolence: Being a nephew to Lorraine all I can say she was the best of us and that includes Dick also. From a very young age I knew there was something special about my Aunt & Uncle. My tears are for all of us because they passed. I rejoice for they are in each others arms again and we are the better to have known them.

Condolence: Ours deepest condolences to the Manthey Family. The last time that we saw Lorraine was in Vero at the Art in the Park Show, did not see her at first, but heard her laugh and knew right away she was very close by and low and behold there she was. Many fond memories of both she and Dick, they will both be missed. Our deepest regards to you and your family.

Condolence: Dearest Lorraine,
Other than my own family members, you are one of the few who had known me since I was a few years old. Because our relationship goes back so far, I have an eclectic collection of memories of you, most of which are punctuated with THAT LAUGH (!)
There's never been anyone more fun to have around, and also so kind, thoughtful, and loyal.
One of my memories of you is from maybe 1963: we were in Belmar, the rented house on the corner, and you were pushing I think the twins in the stroller. I can still see you, with your beautiful dark hair. And I even remember your mother. Like you, she also was beautiful.
I sure hope there is fun after life, but if they need help with that out there, you will provide it. Let me know, and then I won't be so reluctant to join at the end.
With Love,
Carol

Condolence: Lorraine, my oldest friend. You and Dickie are truly lights in our lives and we will miss you both always. It's for certain, not a doubt, that you are with your Dickie and Billy again now. Peace to your family and your empire of friends who will miss you both so much. See you again.
