Obituary for Peter John Martorana
Peter Martorana, age 39, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. Born in Norwalk, CT, Peter was raised in Point Pleasant where he has lived for most of his life.
Peter worked as a carpenter for The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiner of America Local Union 254.
He was an avid NY Giants and Mets fan. He loved playing outdoors, golfing and fishing. Pete was very giving, kind and funny. His greatest joy was spending time with his loving children and wife.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Katherine Husar Martorana; his three cherished children, Benjamin (8), Grace (5) and Maxwell (2); his parents, Peter Martorana and Lynn (stepmother), Rhonda Martorana and Alan (stepfather); his siblings, Wesley Martorana and Sara (wife), Alan Bogdziewicz and Lauren (wife), John Martorana, Parrish Maschefzky and Steven (husband), Ember Bogdziewicz and Lindsay Martorana.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 12-4 p.m. at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd., Brick, NJ. A 4:00 p.m. Funeral Service will follow at the Funeral Home. Cremation is private.
