Mariann Meier, 60, of Point Pleasant passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 26, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was a loving wife, mother and nana.
Born and raised in Jersey City, she moved with her family to Point Pleasant in 1991.
Mrs. Meier was predeceased by her father, James Cummings; mother Margaret Cummings; brother, Michael T. Cummings; and by her sister, Miriam Bartley. Surviving are her loving husband of 35 years, Robert R. Meier; daughters, Allison S. Meier of Point Pleasant, Megan E. Meier of Point Pleasant and Heather T. Head of Limestone, TN; as well as her four grandchildren, Ryan, Aaron, Hannah, and Aiden. A memorial visitation will be on Monday from 4-8pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A Funeral Mass will be offered 11am on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at St. Martha’s RC Church, 3800 Herbertsville Rd., Point Pleasant. Final interment will be private. Donations may be made in her name to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Foundation.
