Oh so sorry for your loss Marie. Yes it has been many many years now but Smitty had great influence on me during the Audy days. He was a great man and everyone he touched is better because of him.

Your new journey has begun but you will be deeply missed in our time on earth. Thank you for being part of my life as my sister and I grew up. You were there when both of our parents passed and I truly appreciated the love you always gave us. You are in our hearts forever and will never be forgotten. Uncle Walter was a wonderful man who reminded me so much of my father, his older brother. He was there for us when we lost my dad in 1979, and again many years later when my mom passed away in 2007.
I can remember his many trips to Phoenix when my sister and I were young. I can still see my sister and I learning to dance on his feet. We were introduced to many new things when he came to visit, and I have many happy memories of those times.
Uncle Walter, you will always hold a special place in my heart and you will be greatly missed.
