Obituary for Frederick Alan "Fritz" Lander

Frederick Alan “Fritz” Lander of Brielle, NJ passed away peacefully on November 10, 2017. He was 58.
Born in Bryn Mawr, PA, Fritz graduated from the Univ. of Delaware and went on to a successful career in the Insurance industry. Alongside his beloved wife, Kim, he raised his family in Phoenixville, PA, before moving to Brielle 24 years ago.

Fritz was a man of devotion, not only to his Philadelphia Eagles “E-A-G-L-E-S!”, but more importantly to his family and his faith. He cherished his roles as husband, father, grandfather (“Gumpy”), son, brother, and friend. His amazingly selfless, kind, funny, and generous spirit endeared him to all he met. He will be so deeply missed.

Fritz leaves his mother Patricia of Paoli, PA; his wife and true love, Kim (nee Eggers); daughter Morgan McManus, husband Shane & grandson Clayton of Denver, PA; daughter Devon Lander of Hoboken, NJ; brother Richard “Tim” Lander & wife Karen of Paoli, PA; sister Nina Milton & husband Donald of Seabrook Island, SC; sister/ brother-in-law Lynne & Fred Truex of Brielle; and many loving nephews & nieces; Ben, Hayley, Matthew, Meredith & Peter, as well as “The Boys on Beechtree Lane”, family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church in Spring Lake, NJ on Saturday November 18th, at 11 am.
