Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Peter Cummings can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Peter J. Cummings ("Poppy"), 90, passed peacefully in his home on November 11, 2017 surrounded by family. Finally reunited with his beautiful wife, Joan of 57 years along with Nellie Cummings, Mae Noce, Buddy Cummings, Eileen Costanzo, Peg Rimer and Pat Bissett. He is forever remembered by his loving daughters Robyn Cummings and Holly Crawford and her husband Tom and his six grandchildren Brittany, Peter, Meghan, John Kelly, Kelsey and Jack along with many nieces and nephews. Poppy will live forever in our hearts as a brave firemen of Newark NJ, a member of the US Navy, dedicated Parishioner of St. Catharine's Church, patriarch of his family, his grandchildren's #1 fan and the best dressed Irishman you'd ever meet. Visitation is November 16 from 4-8 at O'Brien Funeral Home in Wall. A funeral mass is November 17 at 10:30AM at St. Catharine’s, Spring Lake.
