Margaret “Vi” as she was affectionately known, Gillum, 92 of Farmingdale passed away peacefully at the Jersey Shore Medical Center on November 21, 2017.
Vi worked for Bell Telephone until marrying and starting a family in Green Brook. After her husband’s passing, she moved to Manasquan in 1985, enjoying many years there. She settled down in Farmingdale, NJ in 2008.
Vi loved to travel and had been to many places throughout her lifetime. She loved bingo, and trips to Atlantic City with friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Francis (Frank) E. Gillum who passed June 17, 1984. She is survived by two sons; Robert L. Gillum of Farmingdale, and Glenn F. Gillum of Wrightstown.
In lieu of flowers, Vi has asked for donations to be made for Breast Cancer Research & the ASPCA. She was a cancer survivor and had a deep love of animals. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
