Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Michaeline Poland can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Michaeline ""Mickey"" Poland (Lapinski)

Michaeline “Mickey” Poland 76 of Sea Girt, NJ died Tuesday, December 05, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center, New Brunswick, NJ. Born in Ravenna, OH, Mickey lived in Brick before moving to Sea Girt 50 years ago. She was a manager for Air Cruisers where she enjoyed working for 45 ½ years. She enjoyed going to car shows with her husband Walt and loved being outdoors gardening and working in the flower beds. Her greatest love was spending time with her pride and joy, her great grandchildren. Mickey was a parishioner of St. Denis Church, Manasquan.
She was predeceased by her parents Edward and Genevieve Lapinski, her son Walter T. Poland III, her sister MaryAnn Taylor and her brother Edward Lapinski Jr. Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Walt T. Poland Jr, daughter Rosemarie "Sugar" Boyle and husband Douglas, 2 grandchildren, Douglas Boyle Jr., Wayne Boyle and wife Megan, 2 great grandchildren; Mackenzie & Tyler.
Visiting will be Friday, from 3-7 PM at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. A Funeral Mass will be Saturday, 10 AM at St. Denis Church, Manasquan, burial will follow in St. Catharine Cemetery, Wall.
