Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Eugene Celiano can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Eugene R. Celiano, 87, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at his home in Manasquan surrounded by his entire family.
Born in Orange, Eugene was raised in Newark. He attended Irvington High School where he met the love of his life, MaryLouise. Eugene attended Georgetown University where he played football and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics.
Eugene served in the US Navy before joining the family HVAC business with his father, A.J. Celiano. Because of Eugene’s dedication, knowledge and mentoring, the business thrives today under the care of his sons and grandson.
Eugene was a devout catholic his entire life. He facilitated Youth Groups and Marriage Encounter, served as a Eucharistic Minister and was always a servant of Christ. Eugene was an active member of St. Martha’s in Point Pleasant.
Eugene was a golf enthusiast and was challenged by the sport from St. Andrews to Pebble Beach. He was also a long-time member of the Spring Lake Golf Club.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 65 years, MaryLouise Celiano; his children, Michael Celiano and his wife Linda, Gregory Celiano, Daniel Celiano and his wife Joan, Donna Celiano and Kenneth and his wife Charisse; his brother Rev. Alfred Celiano; his 19 grandchildren, Nicole, Melissa, Justin, Dominique, Thomas, Nicholas, Dominic, Brianna, Morgan, Marcus, Ciarra, Anthony, Joel, Michael, Rebecca, Emmy, Haley, Hannah and Timothy and his 6 greatgrandchildren, Aidan, Traeston, Ryan, Kaitlin, Addison and Christian.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 3-7 p.m. at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd., Brick. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 5th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martha’s RC Church, Point Pleasant followed by the interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101-9950.
