Hedwig “Heddy” “Jadwiga” Gawronski, 65, of Brick passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Hackensack Meridian Ocean Medical Center in Brick, with her loving family by her side. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.

Heddy was born in Gdanzk, Poland and came to the United States of America in 1965 settling in Lynn, MA. She lived in Roselle and Colonia before moving to Brick in 1990.

Mrs. Gawronski was predeceased by her parents, John and Maria Piotrowski; and by all of her siblings. Surviving is her husband of 43 years, Lech Gawronski; son, Michael J. Gawronski and his wife, Ashley of Brick; daughter, Donna Miller and her husband, Joseph also of Brick; as well as 2 grandchildren, Joseph Michael and Amanda Marie.

Visiting will be on Friday from 4-8pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday 10am at The Church of the Epiphany, 615 Thiele Road, Brick. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle.
