Ralph G.  Perfetto
Ralph G. Perfetto, 83, of Wall, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018.
Ralph was born in Brooklyn to the late Edward and Lydia (Certosimo) Perfetto. He was a longtime resident of South Hackensack before moving to Wall over 20 years ago. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War before embarking on a successful career in the Sheet Metal Industry, from which he retired as a Quality Control Manager. He was a lifetime member and Ex-Chief with the South Hackensack Volunteer Fire Department. His dedication to the Fire Department was surpassed only by his devotion to his family, with whom he enjoyed vacations and travel.
Ralph was predeceased by his beloved wife Joan (nee Lamoreaux) in 1995, by his devoted companion of many years, Ruth Kelly, in 2016, and by his sister-in-law, Sandy Perfetto. He is survived by his daughter, Doreen Perfetto-Petrizzo, of South Hackensack, and his son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Marianne Perfetto, of Rockaway Twp. Also surviving are his grandson, Dominick Petrizzo, Jr., as well as Ralph’s brother and sister-in-law, Bernie and Nilda Perfetto, his brother Edward Perfetto, his former sister-in-law, Delores Perfetto, and nephews and nieces.
Visitation will take place at O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy. 35, Wall, on Thursday, January 11, 2018, from 1:30- 3:30 and 6-8 P.M. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Catharine’s Church, Spring Lake, on Friday, January 12, 2018, at 10:30 A.M., followed by entombment at St. Anne Cemetery, Wall. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ralph’s memory may be made to Eversight, 77 Brant Ave., Suite 100, Clark, NJ 07066, or via www.eversightvision.org.
