Frances M. D’Auria, age 83, of Spring Lake Heights passed away after a brief illness on January 9th surrounded by her loving family at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

Fran was born in Waco, TX and was one of 12 children. She married her late husband Peter and moved to Spring Lake Heights where she has lived for 61 years.

Fran will always be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a life-long servant of the Roman Catholic Church and a dedicated parishioner of St. Catharine Church. Fran and her loving husband Peter participated and chaired many church events including the Candlelight Ball. Fran had served as the director and was a life-long member of the Carmelite Third Order of St. Catharine and also served as a Eucharistic Minister. Fran and her husband also founded the Lladro Buddies of the Jersey Shore and enjoyed sharing that passion with others.

Fran was predeceased by her husband Peter D’Auria Jr, her parents, Joseph P. and Rosa V. Kaluza of Waco, TX and eight siblings. Fran is survived by her four daughters and their spouses Debra Bermingham (Richard) of Wall, Lori Bonnetti (David) of Waretown, Gina Donahue (Joseph) of Turlock CA and Jodi Sharpe of Jackson, her seven grandchildren Lisa Crosson, David Bonnetti, Jr., Michelle Czajkowski, Cayla Donahue, Grace Sharpe, Sarah Sharpe and Kyle Bermingham and her siblings Minnie Lee Welch (TX), Mary Goodspeed (AZ), Ray Kaluza (TX) and identical twin sister Agnes Laine (TX).
