Mary E. Lucchesi, 94, of Wall, NJ died on January 12, 2018 peacefully at home. Born on April 23, 1923, Mary grew up and raised her family in Brooklyn, before moving to Staten Island and then residing in Wall, NJ for the past 14 years. Mary worked as a supervisor for Ideal Toys in Brooklyn. She was loving, fun and dedicated to her family. She was proud of her Italian heritage and it showed through her cooking and baking. She loved to tell a good joke and was happy when everyone was laughing.
Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 years, whom she met at the age of 4, Arthur J. Lucchesi in 2005. Surviving are her children, Geraldine Teraskiewicz, Arthur Lucchesi and his wife, Suzanne; grandchildren, MarieElena Teraskiewicz, Lisa Ferraro and her husband, Peter, Toni Marie Lucchesi, Arthur Joseph (A.J.) Lucchesi; great grandchildren, Peter, Max, Joseph Ferraro, niece; Jackie and husband Angelo Campisi; as well as many other nieces and nephews whom she loved.
Visiting will be January 15, 2018 from 5:00pm – 9:00pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Highway 35 at New Bedford Road, Wall, NJ. A Funeral Mass, January 16, 2018 at 9:00am, St. Catharine Church, Spring Lake, NJ. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY
