Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Ryan Kovitch can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Ryan  M  Kovitch
Ryan M. Kovitch, age 31, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at his home in Brick. Born in Point Pleasant, Ryan was raised in Brick where he was a 2004 graduate of Brick Memorial High School, and a proud member of the Mustang football team. Ryan went on to Brookdale Community College where he earned his degree in business.

An avid sports fan, his favorite teams were the New York Giants and the New York Yankees.

He is survived by his loving mother, Karen Lash, sister Lauren Kovitch and her boyfriend Joseph Eccles; his Aunts and Uncles, Denise and Patrick Kane and JoAnn and Dan Lash; his cousins, Alexandra and Patrick Kane Jr. and Daniel Lash; his Great-Uncle, Joseph Chvasta; his lifelong friend, Shawn Ford; his cherished caregivers, Gina, Dean and Richard; and his beloved dogs Marley and Bowie. He was pre-deceased by his adoring grandparents Daniel and Joan Lash.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd., Brick. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 1st at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martha’s RC Church, Point Pleasant.
