Obituary for Francis A. Moreno

Francis A. Moreno, age 84, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Shorrock Gardens in Brick. Born in Hackensack, Francis lived in Union and Little Ferry and has resided in Toms River since 2004.
Mr. Moreno is a Veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War.

Francis worked for many years as a truck driver. He was part owner of Hemmingway Trucking and worked for Montenagro Trucking. He was Owner of Moreno Package Delivery and driver for Equident where he was known as "Tony” by all who knew him.

Francis was a member of JB Rod and Gun Club in South Hackensack. He was an avid New York Mets and Giants fan. His greatest joy was watching his grandsons play sports, making sure he was at every game. He was always laughing and joking around making sure to put a smile on everyone’s face.

He is predeceased by his son, Glen Moreno; his daughter, baby Donna Moreno and his brothers, August and William Moreno.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Judith Moreno (Moleen) of 39 years; his daughters, Lisa Ball and her husband Brian, Janice Del Vecchio and her husband Joseph and Beth Ann Hoenig; his brothers, Cono, Joseph and John Moreno; his sister, Concetta “Toot” Moreno; and his four grandchildren, Jon Del Vecchio, Jason Del Vecchio, Samantha Hoenig and Eric Ball and many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Donut.
