Obituary for Jane W. Plangere (Wallhauser)

Jane W. Plangere 94, of Boynton Beach, FL passed away peacefully on February 23, 2018 after a brief illness. She was surrounded by her loving family and cherished friends.

Jane was born in Newark, NJ to Dr. Andrew and Isabel Park Walhauser. She graduated from Asbury Park High School in 1942 and resided in Spring Lake, NJ prior moving to Boynton Beach, FL.

Jane was predeceased by her parents Dr. Andrew Wallhauser, mother Isabel Park Feldkamp and her husband Walter Feldkamp, her beloved son Jeffrey Conover in 2006, loving sister Mary Bates in 2007 and dear husband Jules L. Plangere Jr in 2016.

Surviving to mourn this tremendous loss are her devoted children and their spouses, John C. “Jack” Conover III and wife Cathy of Brielle, NJ, Wendy C. Bickart and her husband Dr. John Bickart of Asheville, NC and her stepson Jules L. Plangere III of Manasquan, NJ. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Douglas Villapiano, Rachel Bickart, John M. Bickart and his wife Nikki, Dr. Kevin Bickart and his wife Dr. Alice A. Bickart, Caroline C. Hansen and her husband Ryan, her sister Kristen Conover along with their mother Barbara Conover and youngest grandchild Amy Conover. She enjoyed the love of her great-grandchildren Nicholas, Joseph, Anna, and Jessica Villapiano along with their mother Gaye Feindt, Brayden Bickart and Bradley Bickart. She leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom she considered family.

We would like to extend a debt of gratitude to her her devoted caregivers - Shirley, Pat, Pattie, and Sharmaine.

The family will receive friends on Saturday March 24th 2018 from 1:00pm – 4pm at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd. Brick, NJ 08724 with a Memorial Service to begin at 3:00pm.
Private committal will be in Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls.

Jane’s greatest joy in life was giving of herself to others. The family would ask that in lieu of flowers, you kindly consider taking a monment to brighten someone’s day, take a walk along the beach…stop and smell the flowers. Time waits for no one, enjoy life.
